Every purchase type is welcome
Whether it’s your first home, your next home or an investment, we welcome:
- Freehold and leasehold houses and flats
- Cash and mortgage purchases
- Purchases with a gifted deposit
- Right to Buy, auction, Islamic home finance and HMO purchases
- Purchases by individuals or limited companies
Some of these involve additional legal work. Tell us about them on the form so your quote reflects your circumstances.
What your quote covers
Your emailed quote is prepared from the details you enter and is designed to show what you’re paying for:
- Legal fees for the conveyancing work
- VAT where it applies
- Expected disbursements — third-party costs such as searches and registration fees
Additional work, changes in your circumstances or third-party costs can change the final amount. Stamp Duty Land Tax is separate; your solicitor will advise on it. Review the quotation and the law firm’s terms before instructing.
How long does a purchase take?
Our service aims for 4–8 weeks, measured from the day your solicitor receives the complete contract pack from the seller’s solicitor — not from the day you ask for a quote or instruct.
The timeline can be longer where there is a chain, a leasehold with slow management information, a complex title, outstanding enquiries, delayed searches or lender requirements. Talk to our experts about your circumstances before relying on a moving date. Read our guide to conveyancing timescales.

Common questions
How quickly can I get a purchase conveyancing quote?
You can request your quote online in a few minutes. It is delivered by email and sets out legal fees, VAT and expected disbursements based on the details you give. If online quotes are temporarily unavailable, the form will tell you and you can call or WhatsApp us instead.
Is the 4–8 week target guaranteed?
No. It is a target that starts when your solicitor receives the complete contract pack from the seller’s solicitor. The chain, your mortgage offer, searches, enquiries, title issues and the readiness of every party can all extend the timeline.
Can you help with a leasehold purchase?
Yes. Leasehold purchases are welcome. They usually involve extra work, such as reviewing the lease and management information from the freeholder or managing agent, which can affect both cost and timing. Choose leasehold on the form so your quote reflects this.
I’m a first-time buyer. Is that different?
First-time buyers are welcome. Tell us about your lender and any gifted deposit so your quote reflects the work involved. Your solicitor will advise you on Stamp Duty Land Tax and any reliefs that may apply to you.
What if part of my deposit is a gift?
Tick the gifted deposit option on the form and tell us how many people are gifting money. Lenders and solicitors need to check gifted funds, which is usually additional work.
Does requesting a quote commit me to anything?
No. Your quote is free and there is no obligation to instruct. QuickComplete is a referral service; if you decide to proceed, the appointed law firm confirms your instruction and carries out the legal work.
