The 4–8 week target applies to purchases and is not guaranteed. Freehold, leasehold, cash and mortgaged purchases are welcome. Chains, complex titles, management information, searches and lender requirements can extend the timescale. No purchase target applies to remortgages.

No. This is a target from your solicitor’s receipt of the complete contract pack, not a guarantee. We welcome all purchase types, but the chain, mortgage, searches, enquiries, title issues and other parties can extend the timeline. Discuss your circumstances with our experts before relying on a moving date.
Does the target start when I ask for a quote?
No. Requesting a quote and instructing a law firm happen before receipt of the complete contract pack. The 4–8 week purchase target starts only when the solicitor has received that complete pack.
What will my conveyancing quote include?
Your quote will show legal fees, VAT and expected disbursements based on the details you provide. Additional work, changes to your circumstances or third-party costs can affect the final amount. Review the quotation and the law firm’s terms before instructing.
Do you help with leasehold and mortgage purchases?
Yes. We welcome freehold, leasehold, cash and mortgaged purchases. Tell us about your property, lender and any special requirements so suitability can be checked.
Does the 4–8 week target apply to remortgages?
No. The purchase target applies to purchases only. Remortgage timescales are assessed separately.
Are you the law firm carrying out my move?
QuickComplete is a conveyancing referral service. Your appointed law firm provides legal advice and carries out the conveyancing. Requesting a quote does not formally instruct that law firm.
Can I get help if I’m buying and selling?
